Well it's been quite the interesting ride of me this year already. School is really looking up and I am working my ass off now that I have gotten through the majority of my arrogance/why the hell am I being bothered with this crap, phase. Honestly I wish it hadn't taken this long to get through it, I wasted alot of good oppertunities because I couldn't get through my own BS. Guess the old saying you can't learn till you admit you know nothing applies *snickers*. Well hopefully I have learned from my mistake and can get some more good art done.

Another big thing that was keeping me busy has come to a heart wrenching close. My grandmother who has been in the hospital for five months has passed on rejoining my grandfather in the afterlife. She will be sorely missed but it was better for her in the end. Those five months were hard on her and everyone. Rest in peace my beloved grandmother.

On a happier note, I have two shows coming up that my artwork will be in, in the new whitespace gallery this month it looks like. One I am not 100% sure but the person putting it together said it is almost a possitive I made it through the judging. So that is awesome news. I am looking forward to the increase in commissions if there are any (recession = no anime money ;_; ).

I am also going to be going to a convention in chicago in May with the GF which will be awesome and seriously looking forward to it so if you are going to the anime convention so you there folks!

Anyway enough rambling for now!

Doing something alittle different for the feature this month (or however long it takes me to update this damn thing ), here are the contest winners of the portrait contest that was held for febuary.
